🎙️ About the Hosts:

Jane and Alexi co-host the hit podcast "That’s So Sapphic", where they dive deep into sapphic culture, unpacking everything from pop culture clues to teenage obsessions and asking: "What really makes something sapphic?"

Both Jane and Alexi have a vast sapphic social media following on Instagram and TikTok regularly going viral with millions of views. 

Jane (@JaneDoesComedy) is a queer, multi-award-nominated stand up comedian from Cumbria. She’s been heard on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Cumbria, was a British Comedy Award finalist, and her show Terrible People was nominated for the Big Gay Award at Brighton Fringe. Alongside "That's so Sapphic" she also hosts the Paranormal Queer Comedy Podcast, "All the Terrible Things" where LGBTQ+ listeners share their scary ghost stories! Alexi Melvin (@theAlexiMelvin) is a New York based Broadway producer, writer, actor, and LGBTQ+ content creator. She’s known for her viral sapphic nostalgia content. She is all about emotionally intelligent storytelling, queer joy, and making space for sapphic voices. As well as "That's So Sapphic" - you can also tune in to her other podcast “Sapphic Panic”.

For this one-off Halloween special, as well as the live stand up comedy - they’ll also be doing a live mash-up episode with Jane’s paranormal comedy podcast "All the Terrible Things", discussing iconic sapphic characters in horror and Halloween films – from the subtextual to the screamingly obvious.
